One of our favourite GWEN modules have received some major updates lately. Keep reading to find out more!
Multiple mission paths
You are now able to set up multiple mission paths for your implementation! This is useful for many reasons, some examples are:
- Have 1 long mission path for the over all usage of the product and then shorter paths for in dept guiding of specific parts of the product.
- Guide different users in different ways, enabling full onboarding in products with split feature scopes for different user roles.
- Chained paths where the user can unlock new mission path branches upon reaching certain steps within an existing path. (Availability rules for mission paths are coming soon...)
Improved path creation tool
In addition to being able to set up more than 1 mission path, we have also improved the tools at your disposal when creating these paths. You can now set up scripted missions with 1-5 objectives in each mission and also define intervals for which the missions will follow a set of rules but are generated using our smart randomization algorithm. Your path can either have a set end or it can end with an interval that are set to continue to infinity and beyond.
Path "Repeating mode"
Last but definately not least we are introducing the ability to set the desired "repeating mode" for each of your paths. What is a repeating mode, you might ask. The default mode is to have your path not repeat at all, this is how our mission paths have been wotking up until now. The path is available for the user to progress on indefinately until the end is reached (if there is an end that is). The new mode introduced in this release makes it possible to set up time spans for the patch, when the time is up, the path progression is reset and the user can start over. This makes it possible to work with shorter daily or weekly mission paths or set up "seasonal" missions repeating on a monthly basis.
